It's getting close to that time of year. The flowers are blooming, prom season is kicking into high gear and all of my 2019 Seniors are preparing to graduate! This is such an exciting time for them! I remember those last few weeks as a high school senior. It's hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago for me (eeekk). The days were filled with sharing news about college plans, fun school activities and preparing for senior week (is that still a thing???).
Anyway I am playing catch up over here on the blog and thought what better time than now to celebrate some of my 2019 Seniors!
Meet Jenna. When Jenna's mom emailed me last summer, she said that Jenna was so excited to have her pictures taken and that she's been waiting for a long time to finally have her senior portraits done {cue small happy dance}. I consider myself a photographer for the "picture lover." I believe a photo session shouldn't be mundane and boring and the end result should be a gorgeous piece of art, one that will withstand the test of time and hold a place on your walls well past the milestone being celebrated.
Jenna actually sent me some inspiration for her photos which helped me choose the perfect location for her. She loved clean backgrounds with a city vibe with some colorful flowers thrown in the mix, so we spent the day exploring downtown Bel Air. It really is one of my favorite spots to shoot because there is such variety. It helps the whole shoot feel like a real model experience because we get to explore and experiment with some really fun spaces.
After Jenna's session I got some of the sweetest notes from Jenna and her mom. I seriously have the best clients ever!
