So excited to share one of my beautiful seniors from this past Fall. Right now is a pretty crappy (for lack of a better word) time for them. All of their senior events have been stripped away from them in the blink of an eye. They'll never step foot into the school they called home for the past four years. No proper goodbyes to teachers and friends, no class trip, no prom, no graduation.... well at least in the way they imagined. It all just breaks my heart. I'm so happy that I was able to celebrate so many seniors this past year with one-of-a-kind portrait sessions. And while I can't give them back all the things they're missing, I can continue to celebrate them here, so today I'm going to celebrate Emily - Perry Hall High School, Class of 2020.
Emily's mom called me last September, and said her daughter really wanted to do her senior sesh at an apple orchard. I immediately loved this idea when she told me, so I reached out to many local orchards and luckily, our family's personal fav to visit in the fall, Lohr's Orchard, allowed us to do our shoot there. I loved that Emily's outfit selections fit right in with the lush fall schematic. These tones are just so soothing to me. It was such a joy working with Emily.
This Fall, Emily will attend Towson University! Fun Fact, I spent my freshman year at Towson before transferring to dance at the University of Delaware. My freshman year was THE BEST and I'm still best friends with 2 of my teammates to this day!!
Best of luck, Emily on your new adventure!
