Meet Thomas! Thomas is a class of 2022 senior who attends Calvert Hall. Thomas was actually the very first senior boy Des photographed for the 2021-22 season. It was important to Thomas to document all aspects of his high school experience, so Thomas selected the DOP collection that offered two different locations and 4 outfit selections.
Thomas selected his school campus for part one of his session. Calvert Hall boasts a stunning campus and the grotto at the school is an iconic spot that Thomas and his family knew they wanted to incorporate into his session.
Thomas plays Rugby at Calvert Hall as well and wanted to put a different spin on documenting this portion of his senior year. There's a famous quote attributed to Winston Churchill, "Soccer is a gentlemen's game played by hooligans and rugby is a hooligan's game played by gentlemen." Thomas thought that he'd use this quote as the inspo for the outfit choice for his Rubgy pics, wearing a suit jacket and collared shirt with athletic shorts and cleats. It really was such a sophisticated look!
Thomas also plays the drums and Desiree suggested a parking garage for this portion of his session.
Thomas opted to add on an additional 3rd location, and one that was very special to Thomas and his family. Thomas was diagnosed with cancer 9 years ago and is currently CANCER FREE! Thomas wanted to pay tribute to the place where he beat childhood cancer, and so Desiree spent a portion of Thomas' session on the John's Hopkins Hospital Campus.
